Nutrient Mapping

Nutrient maps are created by combining soil test results with the paddock map that allow instant identification of the nutrient levels across your farm. They allow easy identification of physical trends and regions where excess or deficiency is occuring and possible risk of environmental damage or loss of production. These can be and enormously valuable tool for fertiliser decisions, production decision, soil condition, poor pasture performance, paddock rotation etc.

Generally the major nutrients (P,K,S and pH) are mapped but almost anything can be overlaid on the paddock map (eg lime requirement, fertiliser defiencies, pasture performance etc.)

Below are examples of nutrient maps.
